Sports massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the manipulation of soft tissues to benefit individuals engaged in regular physical activity. Soft tissue refers to the connective tissues that have not hardened into bone or cartilage. This includes the skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia (a type of connective tissue that surrounds and supports other soft tissues).
Sports massage is specifically designed to help correct problems and imbalances in the soft tissues that result from repetitive and strenuous physical activity or trauma. When applied before and after exercise, sports massage can enhance performance, support recovery, and help prevent injuries.
I am currently qualified to perform various types of massage, including facial massage, neck and shoulder massage, and more.
